TODDLER TUESDAY- A GRINCH-THEMED INVITATION

Tis the season, and how fitting to have a Grinch-themed first birthday party.  I had so much fun designing this invitation, and you better believe The Grinch was playing in the background.

T.G.I.I.F.- A TRAVEL-THEMED BRIDAL SHOWER

This invitation package was designed for a very special person and dear friend of mine.  Her mother and sister came to me with a theme already in mind, and together we conceptualized all of the personal elements we wanted to include in the package that would give a tour of the bride's personal life experiences.

Her fiance collects vintage locks and keys, so we decided to wrap the invite suite with a key and jazz it up with a luggage tag.

Since it is a travel-themed shower, we only saw it fitting to make the invitation look like a train ticket.

Jen loves to cook, and so we came up with the idea to add in 3 recipe cards from countries she has visited.

Another thing we included in the package were "travel-themed" songs, to set the mood for the shower.

And last but not least, every guest received a vintage postcard that Jen's sister and bridesmaid chose from the Long Beach Flea Market to represent Jen and her fiance's love for flea market shopping.

T.G.I.I.F.- KENSICO SOAP BAR BRANDING

Over the summer, I had a lot of fun working with the ladies of Kensico Soap Bar (http://www.kensicosoapbar.com/#!home/mainPage.) They came to me in need of the design of their logo and label packaging for the store.  It all started with the below color inspiration and their concept of the store, which was creating a fun atmosphere for both kids and adults.  The final product ended up being a great success because it married both the color palette and the over all shopping experience they were trying to create.

TODDLER TUESDAY- BREAKFAST AT CHLOE'S

So the decision has been made for Chloe's Birthday Party, and since Chloe's favorite color is blue the decision was not tough.  We are hosting a "Breakfast at Chloe's" themed birthday brunch for a couple of Chloe's little girl friends.  The invites are complete and ready to be sent.

If I could do our wedding all over again, this couple's venue, The Metropolitan Building, would be my ideal place to have our reception.  The space would completely inspire the style of the wedding, and every little detail added to the venue would only optimize the overall beauty of the interior.  With this being said, the design of these invites came effortlessly while opting for a simplicity in design with a little grace and glamour.

TODDLER TUESDAY- DIY HEADBOARD

My toddler is about to upgrade to the big girl bed, and unfortunately I am not liking the original bed we purchased before she was born.  We have to keep the bed frame, but I am looking for a DIY project that will spice up the decor in her bedroom.  I came across these while searching the internet.

T.G.I.F.F.- FROM INSPIRATION TO DESIGN

I am completely obsessed with hand-drawn flowers on stationery.  And these invites were a perfect mix of structure and hand-drawn.  I am loving the couple's fresh color palette and all the details we included in the invitation suite.  Such a fun and sweet bride, and looking forward to working with her more!
